Christina & Tom: Notley Abbey

Christina & Toms day was the perfect mash up of Italy, Greece & England, with a whole host of style points and wonderful lighting thrown in!!

Second shooting again for the wonderful Kate Pook!

Planning a wedding?

The Church

WHAT a beautiful church! The light in this space was everything, I adored it! The church clerk also mentioned that I was stood in a spot that was over 1000 years old… humbling!! If you’re looking at getting married, the Anglican Parish Church of St John the Baptist in Little Missenden is a strong contender for a beautiful intimate church wedding!

The Confetti

Adore dried petals as a sustainable, bio-degradable confetti option! Christina & Tom nailed it for their guests, no confetti as spared! Particularly when it comes to dried petals, more is more (yes, I'll probably say that every time!) since dried petals are quite small, guests should have a decent handful to make a great confetti shot for you.

Notley Abbey, Buckinghamshire

There’s no escaping just how beautiful Notley Abbey is. Cotswold stone stands tall looking over the arrival drinks reception post-ceremony. It’s no secret I love long banquet style tables which were just perfect in The Monks Refectory.

The Dress

Could not let this blog post pass through without giving a full mention to Christina’s stunning Rime Arodaky wedding dress, from The Mews Bridal. So light and delicate, extremely elegant and suited both the church and the venue perfectly.

The Couple Photos

Notley Abbey hosts no shortage of space to wander for a moment of escape (alongside your photo/video team). Kate and I took a quick loop with Christina & Tom from the very front of the building around to the gardens. We finished with shots in front of the building, in the gardens, alongside stone walls, and a golden hour moment!

The Dancefloor

These guys hosted a super lively dancefloor - we love to see it!! It’s true when people say that you as the couple carry the energy. If you want your guests dancing, make like Christina and Tom in the last photo!!
