Rachel & James: Manor Farm Wedding

The end of August took me to glorious Buckinghamshire for Rachel & James - these guys promised a fun, relaxed vibe and they did not disappoint!!

Weather wise, overcast for the entire day and a break in the sky at golden hour… thank you weather gods!!

Planning a wedding?

The Morning

Morning prep for Rachel took place at her parents lovely home. Full of natural light and space, it was all you could ask for!

The AM dream team included Chelsea on makeup (@chelseajcartermakeup) and Lottie on hair (@lottiehairstudio) made for a super calm environment.

The Ceremony

Rachel & James had a church ceremony just a few steps from their venue. We were blessed with great lighting!!

The Reception: Manor Farm, Buckinghamshire

Wonderful speeches from dad, James and his three best men! I adored the set up in the barn - I love getting these shots down the table at the point of a toast. You can really feel part of the action through a long table, and I don’t feel as though I’m walking up as an outsider like I do on at round tables.

The Couple Photos

I always aim to take couples out at a couple of points during the day. It gives two opportunities for photos and two separate styles during the day. You never know how the weather might change later on so it’s great to get a good range first while we have the opportunity!

But the clouds parted for Rachel & James so we hopped over to the field behind the venue for these stunning sunset shots!!! Hats off to you Mother Nature, can I request this every wedding day please??

The Dancing

No wedding evening is complete without the couple being thrust onto their guests shoulders!! Rachel & James promised a party and that’s exactly what we got!!

Finishing off the evening with a sparkler tunnel - wedding day, completed it mate!!
