Ellena & Robbie: Norwich marquee

Ellena & Robbie planned a family fuelled, fun wedding in Norwich. A little further for me to travel but I’m always happy to do it for you, and boy was a glad I could be there for their wedding day!! So full of elegant, classic style mixed with a lot of banter, it’s never a bad combination! Scroll on to see what we got up to on their day!

The Morning

Ellena & Robbie’s morning prep was ideal - two cottages right next door to each other, making capturing both of them easy peasy. The most gorgeous cottages with wooden beams, exposed brick wall and natural light, with lots of corners to tuck away any clutter.

The Ceremony: St Marys Church, Tasburgh

The vicar Austin at St Mary’s Church in Tasburgh brought the VIBE to church that day, as I’m sure he does every single day! Such a beautiful building, with light streaming through the stained glass windows and a perfect path leading up for confetti and family photos.

The Candids

Couples usually come to me for the natural, documentary style of my photography. This for me really is a big part of the day, capturing you and your guests enjoying themselves, catching up with family, selfies, sharing canapés… and let’s face it, these are the images that people love of themselves most too!

The Reception: Weatherill Brothers Marquee

If you’re not a bold and bright type of couple, you cannot go far wrong with gold, white and green!

The Couple Photos

Ideally, I love to take out couples at two stages of the day for photos, weather and timeline permitting. A little wander around the area is all we need, for you guys to take a breath and me to get creative.

I absolutely adored these shots of Robbie & Ellena under the big willow tree with the sun creeping through. Simple is best!!

The Speeches

Not all wedding speeches start with spontaneous dancing and singing, or the FoB encouraging the groom to down a pint, but they should 😆 these were nothing short of high energy, laughter and emotion.

The Dancing

Props to these guys for bringing the energy on the dancefloor!! I think a certain wedding guest busting out American Boy post-desert probably had a thing or two to do with getting the mood going! I loved sticking around with these guys - another reminder that if you want a party vibe, you’re the one to get it going!
