Chelsea Town Hall - The Best Locations Before & After Your London City Wedding
Iconic, central, chic - Chelsea Town Hall is an easy choice for an intimate city wedding. The hard part is knowing where to hang out before and where to celebrate after. Luckily, July’s couple, B&D, made some great choices in that regard, so if you’re looking for the perfect pre and post wedding hotels, pubs and restaurants for your Chelsea Town Hall wedding, read on.
Pre Wedding
The Goring
if it’s good enough for Catherine, Princess of Wales, it must be worthy.
The Goring Hotel was where D chose to get ready, exchange gifts and drinking champagne with family pre-wedding. If a room here isn’t quite in your budget, stopping for a drink and some photos in the bar or the garden, as we did, is enough for a little taste of luxury on your wedding day.
The Trafalgar
Right opposite Chelsea Town Hall, the groom and his best man stepped in to this classic London pub, meeting and greeting friends and family all eager to celebrate. Its location makes it a popular choice for pre and post wedding parties at Chelsea Town Hall. Stop here for some pre-ceremony drinks or rent out their private event space to continue the celebrations.
Post Wedding
Wild by Tart
A former power station and coal store, this glass-ceilinged, light-filled space is home to a restaurant, bar, coffee kiosk and retail store (the latter selling unique homewares, including Wild By Tart’s own collection of serve-ware, hand made in Puglia, Morocco and Spain).
A gorgeous spot for an intimate post wedding dinner with close friends and family, or hire out the entire restaurant privately to accommodate up to 160 people with room for a dancefloor.
